The story centers around the Alexandria Ceremonial Police Orchestra from Egypt, which boards the wrong bus and mistakenly ends up in in the small Israeli town of Bet Hatikva. At a café in Bet Hatikva, the owner, Dina, offers invites the band to eat and stay the night. It's finally time for the band to visit - much to the keen anticipation and delight of theater-goers. The national touring production of the musical "The Band's Visit," which was to have been at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts last November until being postponed, will run for six performances June 16-19.
